Andrew Stevens

Andrew Stevens joined the Founding Male Champions of Change in 2011.

Andrew is currently a Non-Executive Director of Stockland, MYOB Group Limited and Thorn Group Limited. He is also Chairman of Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre Limited (AMGC), Director of Committee for Economic Development Australia (CEDA), and a Board Member of the Greater Western Sydney Giants. 

Andrew has some 30 years’ experience in business and technology, most notably holding senior leadership roles at IBM for 12 years. As the Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand at IBM from 2011 to 2014, Andrew led the transformation of the business to become a leader in cloud-based computing, helping blue chip clients to derive business benefits from new and emerging technologies. Prior to this, Andrew was the COO of PwC Consulting in Asia Pacific.

Andrew Stevens is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Australian School of Business at the University of New South Wales, a Member of the Professional Conduct Oversight Committee of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Member of the Chief of Defence’s Gender Equity Advisory Board and a Member of the Male Champions of Change.Andrew is a Fellow of the institute of Chartered Accountants and Member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Andrew Stevens is a member of the Stockland Audit and Sustainability Committees.

Andrew graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting, Finance and Systems and a Master of Commerce specialising in Marketing.

Andrew currently lives in Sydney with his wife Philippa and their three children.
