Andrew Stevens joined the Founding Male Champions of Change in 2011.
Andrew Stevens was the Managing Director of IBM Australia and New Zealand from January 2011 to August 2014.
Andrew joined IBM in 2002 when the company acquired PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting (PwCC). He joined Price Waterhouse in 1981 and, prior to the merger with Coopers and Lybrand in 1998, was the COO of the Price Waterhouse Management Consulting Business in Asia Pacific. Andrew was promoted to the COO position of PwCC in Asia Pacific in 2000, where he led the integration initiative as part of the IBM acquisition.
In 2009, after leading IBM’s Global Business Services (GBS) in Asia Pacific, Andrew was appointed Managing Partner, Growth Markets for GBS, where he was responsible for the strategic direction and management for eight growth markets.
Andrew serves on the Board for the Greater Western Sydney GIANTS. He is a member of the Male Champions of Change and received the Australian Human Resources Institute 2013 Diversity Champion CEO award.
Andrew graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting, Finance and Systems and a Master of Commerce specialising in Marketing.
Andrew currently lives in Sydney with his wife Philippa and their three children.
