Andrew Penca joined the National est2017 Male Champions of Change in 2017 and is now an International Ambassador for MCC
In his role as Assistant to the President & COO, Andrew worked on a myriad of projects including: 2020 Cummins Africa Strategy, machining process improvements at Fuel Systems Plant in Columbus, reducing hand/finger injuries at JEP. He became a certified 6S Green Belt at conclusion of this role in mid 2009. Subsequent to this role, he moved to Jamestown Engine Plant starting out as the plant’s 3rd Shift Leader and finishing as Assembly & Materials Operations Director in August 2011. From Jamestown, he then went on to lead Cummins oldest engine joint venture in China, Chongqing Cummins Engine Co/ Ltd. (CCEC), which was responsible for developing, marketing, selling, manufacturing, and servicing Cummins Heavy Duty and High Horsepower engines throughout China.
In July 2014, Andrew relocated to Cummins South Pacific in the role of Managing Director where he led the organization through significant organizational restructure and change leading to significant improvement in the Health, Safety, and Environment culture and performance; enabling aftermarket sales growth which led to improved profit margin and dollar growth; improving the ease of doing business with Cummins; and driving double digit gains in customer satisfaction. Andrew’s role expanded in March of 2017 to include the broader Cummins sales, service, and support network throughout Asia Pacific
Andrew’s education includes B.S. in Business Administration, International Management (Butler University), Professional Designation and Certification in International Trade & Commerce (UCLA), MBA (University of Southern California) GAICD – 2016, Australia Institute of Company Directors
