Gary Pert

Gary Pert joined the Sport Male Champions of Change group in 2015.
Gary Pert is the CEO of the Collingwood Football Club. Over the last ten years, under Gary’s leadership, the club has financially doubled in size and played in three Grand Finals, including the 2010 Premiership.
Coming to the Holden Centre midway through 2007, Gary was previously Managing Director of Channel Nine Melbourne. He also enjoyed a 12-year career with Austereo, culminating in four years as General Manager, Melbourne and five years as the National Sales Director.
Gary had a distinguished 14-year AFL career, during which he played 233 games between 1982 to 1995. Gary played 163 games for the Fitzroy Lions and 70 games for the Mighty Magpies. He won the Fitzroy Best and Fairest Medal in 1989, was named All-Australian in 1985, and was named in the Fitzroy Team of the Century. He served as a Director of Collingwood in 2006 and 2007, and currently holds board positions with the Heartwell Foundation and the Pacific Star Radio Network.
